Nikolay Tsvetkov

Nikolay is a Senior Software Engineer at CERN where he is currently working on the Monitoring infrastructure for the computer centre and IT services.

Dealing with variety of heterogeneous data sources his main goal is providing common infrastructure to serve metrics and logs at scale.

He has previously taken part in the design of the Next CERN Accelerators Logging Service that is a large scale system meant to store technical accelerators data.

Passionate about Big Data and distributed computing technologies Nikolay places Apache Spark and Kafka on top of his preference list.
